For more than a century, GFWC has encouraged women to improve their skills, expand their rights and apply their abilities and special sensitivity to society’s problems.
Members of federated women’s clubs have been addressing the diverse needs of their communities and countries through times of social change and technological revolution, and of war and peace in an increasingly interdependent world.
The CWC is proud to participate actively in the community by promoting education, preserving natural resources, encouraging healthy lifestyles, working on behalf of the elderly and people with disabilities, advocating for issues of concern of women, children and families, and supporting participation in the arts.
The club is composed of 6 departments: (1) Conservation, (2) Education, (3) Home Life, (4) International Affairs, (5) Public Affairs and (6) the Arts. Members are encouraged to volunteer in all 6 departments and participate in the many projects we have throughout the year.
